Each athlete gets a folder that is stored in the large filing cabinet in the office. It starts off with just the signing papers and anything that need to be documented goes inside along the years. High school transcripts and acceptance letters were all that were inside the folders of the newcomers that I had to file away. Everything is sorted by sport and alphabetically. Just like everything else.
Today I went back to working on the orientation lists. Some athletes switched dates and I had to update the logs for the upcoming orientation, one that is tomorrow. Other than the computer taking forever to publish the files from offline this was a quick process.
After that I worked on something to help Glada know how much money to award which students for summer classes. Those numbers changed since we first looked at them. Some athletes ended up taking less or more classes. Then there were some who we didn't know where planning on taking summer classes. I found that somehow the incoming baseball players were not formally registered...Glada quickly took off to go fix that. There's a deadline coming up Friday.
